Together with their business activities, KFC Vietnam also shows interest in social activities because we hope to contribute our part to the prosperity and the development of Vietnam, as well as to become a friendly brand amongst Vietnamese consumers, which remains one of the leading priorities in our business criteria.




Currently, KFC Vietnam in coordination with Vietnam Children Fund and Vietnam’s Televisions in the cities and provinces, has granted annual scholarship to needy students in Vietnam’s Central region, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Besides, together with Long Xuyen’s Education & Training Department, KFC Vietnam has awarded 100 scholarships to Long Xuyen’s primary pupils on the occasion of the opening of a KFC restaurant in this city. These activities help to support and encourage needy but studious students in their study and their life.


On the occasion of the inauguration of its 100th restaurant in Vietnam, KFC Vietnam Company has reserved US$100,000 as scholarship for needy but studious students in the whole country. This scholarship is valid from November 2011 to November 2012, through Saigon Times Foundation.


To support World Hunger Relief Program of Yum! Brands, KFC launched the program “Selling Chicky Dolls to donate for charity fund”. When customer buy any Chicky Dolls, they will donate 10,000 VND for charity fund.


Furthermore, KFC Vietnam is very active to take part in activities initiated by the Government and authorities of various levels including: food safety month in Ho Chi Minh City; Earth Hour; promotional month in Ho Chi Minh City; 1000th year Thang Long celebration in Hanoi, etc.
